We had a lot of challenges as we headed to Bandung..
On the night before, we just realized that Mum's passport has expired in January. There was nothing we could do, so we had to leave Mum at home. Teruk kan? Lesson learnt: Check your freaking passport before going anywhere! We kinda took for granted. Rasa cam nak balik kampung jer.. x yah guna passport sumer.. haha
Then, 4 of us (kakak, wawa, mimie and hasan) were stopped because their passports expire in November 2008 (which is less than 6 months away). The guys let them go though and said "Risiko tanggung sendiri". Fair enough. When we reached Bandung, the 4 were stopped by the Indonesian officers. After much of negotiating (ala, sebenarnya depa nak duit je tuh..), we paid RM 1 million rupiah and they let us enter Bandung. Woohoo~!
I thought that was it. When we reached the room, I just realized that someone had accidentally tertukar baggage with me! Argh!!! Geram btol. It was a good thing that Bandung has cheap clothes, so at least I had something to wear the next day...
We only went to walk around the hotel (Hotel Karmila) that evening. Had a fab lunch at Simpang Raya and went to visit some of the factory outlets nearby. Gotta save some energy for the next day! ;-)
